RFID Cap Tag Allows Better Inventory Tracking of Bottled Products
Global branded packaging company r-pac International Corp. has commercially released an ultrahigh-frequency RFID cap tag for tracking inventory and authenticating bottled or foil-wrapped products. The tag was developed to take advantage of foil wrappers, as well as the fluid stored in a bottle, in order to extend the read range up to 15 feet or more. The product is said to be ideal for bottled spirits and wines.

Predicted Growth Rate in Equipment Leasing in 2015 Revised Downward
The Equipment Leasing & Finance Foundation on Monday lowered its forecast for corporate investment in equipment and software. The foundation now expects investment to grow 5 percent in 2015, according to the second quarter update to the 2015 Equipment Leasing & Finance U.S. Economic Outlook. In December, the foundation had forecast 6 percent growth for the year.
