Emirates SkyCargo launched two new shipping services for healthcare industry products May 9 as part of its recently rebranded Life Sciences and Healthcare offering: Emirates Vital and Emirates Medical Devices.
Emirates Vital (ATX) is described as a white glove service that will allow Emirates SKyCargo to monitor all of the company’s shipments, improving shipping connection times in Dubai.
Emirates Medical Devices (AXM) is a stand-alone product that supports the movement of medical equipment by ensuring all cargo follows Medical Device Regulations and Good Distribution Practices (GDP).
“We are on a mission to help the world work better — not only for our customers but also for their end customers — individual patients,” said Nabil Sultan, divisional senior vice president for Emirates SkyCargo. “By expanding our product range and ensuring these solutions are purpose-built and future-fit, we aim to ship more vital treatments and supplies to benefit more lives around the world.”
