Apparel Maker Taps APL Logistics for SCM

North Carolina-based apparel manufacturer VF Corporation, which reaches consumers in 150 countries with such brands as Lee, Wrangler, Vanity Fair, and The North Face, has selected APL Logistics to deliver ocean freight consolidation and other supply chain services.
"VF Corporation manages many of the best-known brands in the apparel industry," says Brian Lutt, president of APL Logistics. "It's incumbent upon us to support those brands with supply chain solutions that fit with our client's changing needs."
Aside from consolidation, APL Logistics will provide supply chain visibility through its proprietary See Change IT system; EDI; barcode scanning; and label printing.
