D.W. Morgan Begins Dedicated Trucking Service in Shanghai

D.W. Morgan Co. has begun performing dedicated trucking services for customers in Shanghai, China. The move provides "last-mile" service, through a fleet of exclusive-user trucks, for goods arriving in-country. The vehicles are equipped with Morgan's global positioning satellite (GPS) systems. The company's drivers worldwide use the company's proprietary ChainLinq Mobile application for iPhone, to post instant delivery verification online. Customers can view digital signatures, a satellite map of the precise location where the goods were delivered, and live photos of the delivery. Morgan's services in Shanghai and across China include spare-parts warehousing, vendor-managed inventory warehousing, value-added resale, import and export, and freight forwarding. Morgan also maintains operations in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and South Africa, with services to more than 85 countries.
