As of Jan. 1, 2013, Rickmers-Linie (Singapore) took over all responsibilities for the ocean carrier's activities from its former agent, Horizon Shipping. The move was intended to strengthen Rickmers-Linie's presence in Southeast Asia, the company said. Rickmers-Linie engages in the global transportation by ocean of breakbulk, heavy-lift and project cargo. It is part of the Rickmers Group, which manages a fleet of more than 115 vessels.
