BNSF Logistics Acquires Texas Logistics Provider for Project Cargoes

Based in Flower Mound, Tex., the company operates in multiple locations in the U.S. and worldwide. The deal follows closely on BNSF Logistics' acquisition of Albacor Shipping, and represents an "aggressive" campaign to expand its global project-cargo services portfolio. EP-Team is a global specialist in time-critical, high-value and oversized cargoes. BNSF Logistics is a third-party logistics services provider and a wholly owned subsidiary of Burlington Northern Santa Fe LLC, a Berkshire Hathaway company.
