Globe Tracker Teams With Refrigerated Transport for Reefer Management

The companies are offering a joint product which delivers seamless, integrated, wireless tracking and remote management of refrigerated containers in global intermodal transportation. The technology issues alerts of critical temperature and operating conditions in real time throughout the shipping cycle. It presents historic and real-time data via the Globe Tracker Web interface platform known as SAAN, for Smart Autonomous Asset Network. Globe Tracker is a privately held Danish company with offices and development centers in China, Denmark, Iceland and the U.S. RTE offers a Remote Reefer Communication Engine hardware platform, combined with software that enables advanced reefer monitoring for vessels and terminals.
