ClearMetal Launches Predictive Intelligence Platform

According to the vendor, the tool eliminates uncertainties and provides accurate forecasts that allow carriers to optimize asset allocation, repositioning and utilization. It uses artificial intelligence to comprehend millions of data points and container contingencies. Factors taken into account include port congestion, booking charges and the behavior of customers and commodities around the world. In all, the platform resolves more than 75 elements of uncertainty across the shipment cycle, and layers on 17 external signals (such as weather and trade rates) to generate predictions of equipment, trade, vessel and shipper needs.
