PLS Logistics Opens Branch Office in Las Vegas

It opened with an initial staff of 20 and expects to add another 200 employees in 2016, the company said. PLS said it chose Las Vegas as an office location because of the area’s access to quality professional talent. PLS provides logistics management, brokerage and technology services to shippers in multiple industries. It handles loads across all major freight modes, including flatbed, van, less than truckload, rail, barge, air and ocean. Its carrier network consists of more than 20,000 trucking companies, as well as Class-1 railroads and major barge carriers.
