FourKites, JDA Team Up for Real-Time Truck Visibility

According to the partners, the arrangement enables carrier connectivity, efficient on-boarding and real-time visibility within the JDA application. FourKites' tracking technology covers the full spectrum of the trucking industry, utilizing more than 40 electronic logging device partnerships, a proprietary smartphone app and app-less tracking using cell tower triangulation. FourKites tracks truck locations every 15 minutes, recalculates estimated times of arrival through real-time location data, and automates arrivals and departures using geo-fencing technologies.
