BlueStar to Distribute Oracle Warehouse Management, Field Service Apps

BlueStar Inc., a distributor of auto ID, point-of-sale, mobility and radio frequency identification products, has earned Certified Partner status in Oracle Corp.'s PartnerNetwork. At the same time, BlueStar has signed an agreement to distribute Oracle Warehouse Management and Oracle Field Service. Oracle Warehouse Management automates and optimizes material-handling processes. It supports inbound, outbound and reverse logistics; finished, raw and work-in-process materials; manufacturing and distribution environments, and various value-added services. Oracle Field Service automates the process of dispatching field technicians to service calls in remote locations. An Assignment Manager is designed to eliminate guesswork surrounding qualification, availability and geographic relevance of each field-service technician. The tool can accurately predict a window-to-promise for service delivery. Oracle Field Service is part of the Oracle E-Business Suite.
