When Briggs Healthcare brought in Brad Mueller to lead a supply chain transformation project, Mueller began by implementing a work measurement program to identify non-value-added steps in Briggs' processes and to assess existing capacity and resources. The second step was to prioritize actions and then to execute, making sure that the flow of business was not interrupted.
