The new Global Trade Academy will provide training and professional development in the areas of customs and trade compliance, import and export management, global logistics, risk assessment and international commerce. At the outset, the academy will be offering more than 60 courses, including both instructor-led, in-class and Web-based training, as well as computer-based training designed for the U.S., European and Chinese markets. Courses will include Certified Classification Specialist (CCLS), Application to Validation for the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT), Duty Drawback Specialist (DBS), and Export Control Certification Specialist (EXCS).
