Appeals Court Affirms Patent Infringement Rulings against Emptoris

Ariba, Inc. (Nasdaq: ARBA), the leading provider of on-demand spend management solutions, today announced that the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit affirmed the judgment entered by the Texas District Court in January 2009 that the electronic sourcing product of Emptoris, Inc. infringes two Ariba patents (U.S. Nos. 6,499,018 and 6,216,114) (the '018 and '114 patents).
