Ocado, an online-only grocer and retail solution provider, has developed a 4G-based protocol to communicate with the thousands of robots powering its new automated warehouses. Shipping and logistics provider DHL Express says it's continuing an investment plan for the United States and the Americas of $185m. The investment earmarked for 2016 and 2017 is focused on infrastructure, technology and people - creating some 900 new jobs in 2016.
