Epicor Software Slates Release of Updated ERP Application

Epicor Software Corp. has developed a new version of its enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, known as Epicor IScala. Version 2.3 SR3 features enhanced mobility functionality, as well as three new modules for project and contract revenue recognition, advanced credit control, and business transaction control. The revenue-recognition module was built specifically for customers using Contract and Project Management modules. Advanced Credit Control supports introduction of a new set of features which let companies define a credit authorization and approval matrix consisting of up to 10 user-defined credit-limit overrides. The Business Transaction Control Engine includes a new feature that allows customers to control specific business transactions or events for sales, purchase and service-management processes. Extended support for advanced license control allows companies to determine which products or raw materials can be purchased or sold.
