PTC Releases Update of PLM App for Retail and Apparel

According to the vendor, the update provides visibility and connectivity across consumers, products, stores, designers and supply chains, enabling closed-loop lifecycle management with such features such as role-based apps and ThingWorx platform connectivity. PTC FlexPLM 11 addresses a number of organization requirements, including merchandising, line planning, product development, sourcing, costing, quality, compliance and supply-chain collaboration. Role-based apps allow users to obtain the right product data and additional features. Future planned releases will include Tech Pack apps and Adobe Illustrator Design Tools, which are expected to become available in the summer of 2016.
