Axxom Develops Calculation Tool for Service Tenders

Axxom Software AG is offering a new calculation tool for evaluating logistics services. ORion-PIR Tender Management enables service providers to calculate offers for warehouse outsourcing and related services. They can precisely determine the overall costs of new outsourcing orders, including staffing requirements. The software supports the integration of new customers in the logistics service provider's warehouse. In addition, it highlights the financial effects of changes in order structures, order or item quantities that increase cost and process complexity. Information is provided in user-defined reports, serving as a basis for further cost calculations and offer preparation. The software then defines the overall cost of the logistics handling for a potential customer, including fixed expense. Graphic display options provide a clear presentation of the results, Axxom said.
