CargoSmart Launches Business-Process Outsourcing for Ocean Carriers, LSPs

The company's new Virtual Business Center, consisting of a team of specialized representatives, deploys business activity monitoring tools to manage documentation processes and maintain sailing schedules. Services include the digitizing of shipping instructions from multiple file formats, and the generation of electronic bills of lading. The center maintains pro-forma long-term, coastal and actual sailing schedules for carriers. Its services offer frequent updates and the validation of data from automatic identification systems, terminals, port agents and other sources.
