Aljex Software Unveils Module for Enhancing Carrier-Broker Interchange

ARC consists of an e-mail from broker to carrier, containing links in a virtual, self-dispatching document which updates automatically on the working screens of Aljex users. The message includes the essential information the carrier needs to accept to shipment, without the broker’s competitive information. To accept the shipment, the carrier clicks on a link in the ARC e-mail, enabling it to sign the rate confirmation electronically. At that stage, a link appears in the e-mail, providing the carrier with detailed shipment information, shipper name, pickup and delivery addresses, reference numbers and contacts. The broker receives an e-mail verifying that the carrier has signed the confirmation, along with a PDF of the signed document.
