The program automates the input of data from documents, providing for the capture of information contained in paper and electronic documentation in any format. It extracts and classifies key information for business processes. Multi-channel capture capabilities streamline the processing of documents from scanners, MFPs, fax, e-mail and other digital sources. Configurable actions and rules-based criteria span capture functions with multi-language recognition, document classification, validations and business rules, and formatting for company-specific processes. In addition, the tool processes documents with barcodes, machine-printed text (OCR), hand-printed text (ICR) and check boxes (OMR), with full text and zonal identification for locating and processing data on both structured and unstructured documents.
