CaroTrans Debuts Weekly LCL Service Between Korea and Atlanta


With a transit time of 27 days, the direct service eliminates the extra handling associated with cargo routing via Los Angeles and New York. In addition, CaroTrans is offering expedited inland points intermodal (IPI) service to Alabama, North and South Carolina, Florida, Georgia and Tennessee. In South Korea, CaroTrans partners exclusively with MOLAX, an independent NVO. The alliance offers dedicated local service for import and export cargoes moving between the U.S. and Northern Asia. With the addition of Atlanta, the company’s import network now consists of seven direct weekly LCL services between South Korea and Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, New York, Seattle and Miami.
