3PL Central Acquires Inventory-Control Vendor Traker Systems

Known as iTraker, the company provides cloud-based inventory-control software. Like 3PL Central, it serves 3PL and private warehouse customers. According to 3PL Central, the combined companies offer a suite of warehouse management, inventory control and logistics software to more than 1,300 customers globally. John Watkins will continue in his role as chief executive officer of the newly combined company, with Rich Moline serving as executive vice president, enterprise and strategic accounts at 3PL Central. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
