ALK Adds Map Overlays to Improve Route Planning

ALK Maps is a customizable, interactive mapping platform offering high-quality visualization. The overlays include traffic incidents, such as accidents, roadwork and weather-related events; drive time polygons, showing how far a driver can travel within an indicated length of time from a specified point; elevation routing, to help drivers avoid roads above a certain elevation, and boundary polygons, which highlight the boundaries of U.S. states, counties and zip codes, and Canadian provinces. Users can analyze regional data or view assets in localized groupings.
