LogFire WMS Aids 3PLs with Transload, Deconsolidation Functionality

The tool aids in the movement of freight from an ocean container to outbound trailer loads, by destination, purchase-order number and SKU. It eliminates the need to toggle between a transportation system and WMS, with the ability to handle transloading, deconsolidation, cross-docking, flow-through, pick and pack and shipping, LogFire said. The vendor markets supply-chain execution software and services to retailers, manufacturers, consumer-goods companies and 3PLs worldwide.
