Germany's Deutsche Bahn rail company has paused its passenger train services in the country following a nationwide IT disruption.
According to BBC News, the outage has all rail services suspended, with all trains being held at stations. The disruption is believed to have stemmed from a malfunction in Germany's digital railway radio network.
A spokesperson with Deutsche Bahn said that the malfunction has disrupted internal communications, and that technicians are working to resolve the issue.
Until trains are back online, passengers are being urged not to travel, or use alternative modes of transportation. Major delays and cancellations are expected in the meantime.
